Founded on the belief that everyone in the industry deserves the ability to make data-informed decisions

Problem:

Independent music venues face a severe profitability crisis. In 2024, 64% operated at a loss, with 22% contemplating closure (National Independent Venue Association, 2025). Venues are the backbone of live music, yet three interrelated drivers threaten their survival.

1. Lack of reliable data makes demand forecasting nearly impossible

2. Inefficient and fragmented workflows dominate booking

3. External market and operational pressures erode margins

Meet our team

Founder Campbell Bloomfield has been a lifelong musician and fan. After first hearing of artists in Virginia struggling to attract booking agencies and plan larger tours, he dove into the industry by just asking anyone who would answer, "What is the biggest problem that you face?". Through these conversations, an incredible network of independent musicians, venues, promoters, and agents have emerged to support the design and build of The Music Advocacy Project. Feel free to connect with Campbell directly if you would like to discuss your industry experiences.
